Advance in research and application of nonpoint-source agricultural pollution models.

This paper clarifies the concept,harmfulness and characteristic of nonpoint-source agricultural pollution,detailedly analyzes the characteristics of the current researches on nonpoint-source agricultural pollution models at home and abroad,and points out that the spatio-temporal dynamic simulation models whose representative is the cellular automata have exhibited an extensive applicability, which can be considered as the 4th stage of researching into nonpoint-source agricultural pollution models.At last the paper summarizes the deficiencies and development direction of existent nonpoint-source agricultural pollution models.
