Submillimeter waves: a suitable tool for both resonant and non-resonant high field magneto-spectroscopy on narrow gap semiconductors
1992
The combination of magnetic fields as a tuning parameter and submillimeter waves as a monoenergetic probe represents one of the most powerful tools in semiconductor spectroscopy. The present paper is focussed on the particular problem of narrow gap materials in megagauss fields. Based on a selection of experimental results recent developements and new opportunities in this area are discussed.
