Hardware Modifications for Controlling Duty Cycle to Reduce LED Power in Existing Infrared LED Scene Projectors

In our existing infrared LED scene projector system, the LEDs receive power 100% of the time when the system is drawing, resulting in unwanted heating and radiance droop. This paper characterizes the hardware modifications implemented to reduce the duty cycle of the LED power supplies.
