DISCOVERY OF THE LATE CARBONIFEROUS PSEUDOENDOTHYRA FAUNA (FORAMINIFERA) FROM NINGHUA,FUJIAN PROVINCE AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE

Late Carboniferous Pseudoendothyra fauna is reported from Lower Huanglong Formation of Ninghua, Fujian Province, with 1 genera and 21 species of fusulinid fossils described. They are mainly characterized by a very small shell, spheroidal or lenticular, with a short axis of coiling, spirotheca composed of four layers and usually no other fusulinids in co existence with them, reflecting the exclusiveness in distribution of this fauna.
