Diseño de una intervención educativa sobre la pandemia de la COVID-19 y las medidas de prevención

La crisis provocada por la pandemia de la COVID-19 ha llevado a la mayoria de las personas en todo el mundo a realizar un cambio en sus actividades cotidianas y ha resaltado la necesidad de una alfabetizacion cientifica. Sin embargo, pocos estudios han presentado intervenciones educativas relacionadas con las medidas preventivas ante la COVID-19. En este estudio, presentamos un taller de divulgacion cientifica sobre las medidas de prevencion ante esta pandemia con estudiantes de Secundaria, Bachillerato, Grado en Educacion Primaria y Master en Formacion del Profesorado de Secundaria, con el objetivo de investigar sus concepciones y razonamiento sobre las medidas de seguridad frente a la COVID-19. En particular, como la informacion basada en evidencias cientificas puede influir en la toma de decisiones en la vida diaria y en la decision de ponerse o no la vacuna. Mediante un diseno pre-post se indaga sobre las ideas y formas de razonar del alumnado en relacion con las medidas de prevencion para evitar el contagio de la COVID-19. Los resultados muestran que esta intervencion educativa mejora el conocimiento de alumnado sobre la base cientifica e importancia de las medidas de prevencion y su actitud hacia la vacunacion. However, few studies have presented educational interventions related to preventive measures against COVID-19. In this study, we present a scientific literacy workshop on security measures against COVID-19 with Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, BA in Primary Education and Master's Degree in Secondary Teacher Training, with the aim of investigating their conceptions and reasoning about preventive measures against COVID-19. In particular, how information based on scientific evidence can influence decision-making in daily life and the decision to get the vaccine or not. Through a pre-post design, students' ideas and ways of reasoning are investigated in relation to security measures to avoid the spread of COVID-19. The results show that this educational intervention improves students' knowledge about the scientific basis and importance of prevention measures as well as their attitude towards vaccination.
