Study on the formulation and preparation process of lamivudine capsules

OBJECTIVE To develop the formulation and preparation process of lamivudine capsules.METHODS The capsule parameters were investigated according to the pharmacopoeia and technical guidelines to determine the final formulation and preparation process of lamivudine capsules.RESULTS The optimum formulation and composition of lamivudine capsule is composed of 100mg of lamivudine,108.5mg of MCC,10mg of CMS-Na,1.5mg of magnesium stearate with the dissolvability of 90% at 30 min.Direct filling capsule technology is suitable for the preparation process.CONCLUSION The formulation of lamivudine capsule is practical,and the facile preparation process is suitable for industrial production.
