The Museum of the Moving Image in London

A newcomer to the museum world, the Museum of the Moving Image was an instant success. In 1992, only four years after its opening, it was crowned with the Grand Prix of the first Tourmuse Competition sponsored by the International Council of Museums and the Group of National Travel Agents' and Tour Operators' Associations within the European Community. Cited for having broken new ground with its promotion and advertising and its special exhibitions, the museum has regularly maintained a place in the top ten London admission charging attractions.
