Industrille Gemeinschaftsforschung im Rahmen der AiF zum Nutzen kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen aus der NE-Metall-Branche

This article describes the system of industrial cooperative research within the framework of the AiF, Arbeitsge-meinschaft industrieller Forschungs-vereinigungen «Otto von Guericke» e. V. [Federation of industrial cooperative research associations «Otto von Guericke»]. The tasks and responsibilities of industrial cooperative research activities as well as the most important procedural stages of joint industrial research projects are described in detail. Following this discussion of fundamental issues, the second part of the article presents examples of the work of the research institute for precious metals and metal chemistry. Special emphasis is placed on results of research projects from which the small and medium-sized companies in the NF metals industry can benefit
