Greetings from General Chairs

We would like to welcome you to the International Conference on Wavelet Analysis and Pattern Recognition (ICWAPR 2017), which is held in Ningbo, China, July 9–12, 2017. ICWAPR is an ongoing and stimulating research event emphasizing a unique synergy between the area of pattern recognition and wavelet analysis. ICWAPR2017 is the 14th of the series of international conferences on wavelet theory and applications formerly known as the “International Conference on Wavelet Analysis and Its Applications (ICWAA)”. The first four conferences were held in, respectively, Guangzhou (1999), Hong Kong (2001), Chongqing (2003), and Macau (2005). From the fifth one onward which was held in Beijing (2007), the conference has been sponsored by the IEEE and the name has been changed to ICWAPR. With its 12 years of history, ICWAPR becomes a leading event bringing together a large number of scientists and engineers from all over the world to express their innovative ideas and report on their latest achievements in wavelet analysis and pattern recognition as well as other related research areas.
