The invention relates to a spatial modulation device of a light beam of the type comprising: - an element (75) dispersed in the polymer liquid crystal (PDLC), said PDLC element, said element comprising at least PDLC two pixels distributed in a matrix having two axes raster and which can be addressed independently of each other by means of a system to at least two electrodes, - optical means for reducing sensitivity to polarization of the incident light beam of said device .According to the invention the optical means comprises depolarization means (74) to depolarize the light beam incident on said element to PDLC.
