Primi risultati di un impianto pilota per il trattamento preliminare di acque di vegetazione

Starting with a general evaluation the paper then presents a pilot plant for the initial treatment of the liquid waste derived from olive pressing. The treatment is based on the oxidisation of organic substances by aeration as an alternative to simple storage. From the trial results this seems to be a useful contribution to redimensioning the problem in terms of the quantity of liquid to be treated and reduction in pollution.
