$\Delta$ Δ (1232) production in the $K^{+}p\rightarrow K^{0}\pi^{+}p$ K + p → K 0 π + p reaction

In this work, we investigate the production of the $\Delta (1232)$ -resonance in the $K^{+}p\rightarrow K^{0}\pi^{+}p$ reaction within an effective Lagrangian approach. Especially, we explore the $\rho$ exchange considering two kinds of $\Delta N\rho$ couplings and the $\Sigma$ exchange contributions. It is found that the angular distribution of the final K0 and the spin state of the produced $\Delta (1232)$ are sensitive to the production mechanisms and the characters can be used to distinguish the mechanisms of this reaction.
