Scale of Non-commutativity and the Hydrogen Spectrum

In view of the current null results for the popular models of physics beyond the standard model, it has become necessary to explore other plausible alternatives for such physics.Non-commutative spaces, which can arise in specific string theory models, is one such alternative. We explore the possibility that quarks and leptons exist in such spaces, and obtain a bound on the scale of non-commutativity.
