Eccentric electromagnetic superscatterer and high-directivity antenna

Based on the concept of complementary media, we propose a way to design an eccentric electromagnetic superscatterer, external cloak and high-directivity antenna. All these three designs are achieved by coating with a complementary media shell without rotational symmetry. The required material properties of these devices are derived in terms of the geometrical parameters and the coordinates in the transformed system. Full-wave finite-element simulations for the two-dimensional cases are performed to illustrate the designs.
