A study on the varying law of flowering characters of Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu.

A study on the varying law of flowering characters of Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu.was carried out.The results are as follows:there are differences in flower and buds characters of Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu.among and within strains within habitats.The maximal average of coefficient of variation of flower characters is the crown size of flower and the minimal is the number of split of stigma.The maximal coefficients of variation are the crown size of flower and the number of split of stigma among strains within Dayangshan forestry section and Huangtan forestry center.The number of buds,the number of flowers,the percentage of flowering,the number of fruit,the percentage of fruit and the pollination periods of single plant had significance differences among plants.
