Ladder Operator Approach of Special Functions for 1+1d Discrete Systems and the N-Soliton Solutions of the Quotient-Difference Equation

We present the (1+1 dimensional) discrete version of the generalized ladder operator method of the special functions. It is shown that this scheme can give the N -soliton solutions of the discrete cylindrical Toda equation and the quotient-difference equation.
