Study of PID Control System Based on Kalman Filter

The optimal estimation of target state and the acquirement of an ideal tracking effect can be realized by Kalman filter when a linear Gaussian model is satisfied. By studying the signal model of Kalman filter, a PID control method based on Kalman filter was given. The system simulation was conducted via MATLAB by combining Kalman filter and conventional PID control, so as to overcome the influence of measurement noise and control noise in the system on the control performance. The results show that the Kalman filter has significantly inhibited the pollution of white noise, with the control effect obviously improved.
