Survey of alkylphenols in aquatic environment of Zhujiang Delta

2004
The effects of Fe and Fe 2 + concentration in t he external environment on hydrogen production capacity of et hanol2t ype fer2 mentative microorganism flora were investigated. The optimum range of Fe and Fe 2 + concentration enhanced hydrogen production were obtained and t he characteristic of fermentation types at different concentration of Fe and Fe 2 + were discussed. It was demon2 strated t hat bot h Fe and Fe 2 + were able to enhance t he hydrogen production capacit y of microorganism flora. The maximum hydrogen production yield of 143. 7mL· g - 1 glucose and t he maximum specific hydrogen production rate 2112mL· ( h· g) - 1 were obtained at Fe 2 + concentration of 200mg· L - 1 and 50mg· L - 1 . The maximum hydrogen production yield of 15611mL· g - 1 glucose and t he maxi2 mum specific hydrogen production rate 2315mL· ( h· g) - 1 were obtained at Fe concentration of 1000mg· L - 1 and 500mg· L - 1 . At t he same concentration , t he enhancement of Fe is better t han Fe 2 + when t he concentration is higher t han 50 mg· L - 1 . A sequential ex2 traction technique was used to represent arbitrary divisions between different metal forms of Fe 2 + in t he mixed culture.
