Characteristics of dislocations in beta‐barium metaborate bulk crystals investigated via light scattering tomography

General characteristics of dislocations in beta‐barium metaborate (BBO) bulk crystals have been investigated via light‐scattering tomography (LST). The dislocations induced by inclusions and the residual products which can reflect the interaction process between the dislocation loops were observed in the experiment. Moreover, the decoration of the dislocation lines in BBO crystals with impurity atoms was also demonstrated by LST images.
