The Features and Advice of Work-family Conflict for Primary and Secondary School Teachers

This research aims to study the features of the work-family conflict(WFC) by using self-made questionnaire for Chinese primary and secondary school teachers.Results show that the score of WIF is significantly higher than the score of FIW.The number of the persons who report higher level of WIF is much bigger than the number of FIW.There are significant differences on gender and age.There is a significant correlation of WFC with teachers' positions as class supervisors,school type,and with the number of working hours per week and working regularity.Teachers with younger children living at home report greater FIW than those without.Teachers with parents living together and with someone doing homework experience less FIW than teachers with no parents living together.Some suggestion is also given at the end of the article.
