Enhanced Performance of a W-Band Cascaded FWTWT

A novel multiple beam cascaded FW circuit that can enhance the gain and power of a TWT is presented in this paper. The cold test properties such as dispersion and interaction impedance of FW SWS has been determined using CST MWS Solver. Further, 3-D PIC simulation has been carried out for a three-stage FWTWT, which gives an output power of 25 watts and a gain of ~ 32 dB at 94 GHz.
