Easy Removal of N-carboxybenzyl (Cbz) Protective Group by Low- Carbon Alcohol

This new highly efficient method for the deprotection of imidazoles, benzimidazoles, and pyrazoles is presented using aliphatic C1-C4 alcohols and trimethylamine at room temperature.
