Investigation of the Recovery Mode with Different Transformation Coefficients of the Autotransformer Reverse Rectifier and Harmonic Components of the Network with an Optimally Selected Transformation Coefficient

The loading machine is designed for feeding slabs coming through the loading roller to the methodic furnace. Slabs are loaded by walking beams driven by a hydraulic system, the beams themselves are located on the carriage moving by means of an asynchronous electric drive. In this work the study of the processes of start-up, braking performance of the engine carriage of the machine is a furnace room, and three roller machine loading – K5 shop hot rolling public joint stock company “Novolipetsk steel”. Special attention is paid to the recovery mode in the electric drive. The analysis of other methods of limiting overvoltage is made. The recovery mode with different transformation coefficient of the reverse rectifier autotransformer is investigated. The analysis of harmonic components is made. The optimal mode for limiting overvoltage in the mode of energy recovery in the network is determined. The transformation coefficient of the reverse rectifier autotransformer is selected for maximum use of the regenerative properties of the “Asynchronous motor – frequency Converter – Rectifier – Network – link.
