The World is undergoing a revolution where technologies are being introduced almost daily. Until now, paperless has been a long dream of every organization and individual. Although we are having a personal computer using which we can type and store large volumes of data, still we are maintaining documents in the form of papers. Papers are used not only to maintain the records, also used as a medium for communication in many office premises, most organizations rely on the use of forms for their daily business. In this paper, we explain some of the common important requirements, and discuss how form technologies can be evaluated by an organization. To illustrate the approach, we describing exemplary evaluation. Our results show that current technologies differ greatly in the requirements that are addressed, and that no single form technology satisfies all the common requirements.
