ANÁLISE HIDROMETEOROLÓGICA DO MUNICÍPIO DE SANTO ANTÔNIO DE GOIÁS – GO

The present study aimed to carry out analysis of precipitation and temperature variability in the municipality of Santo Antonio de Goias – GO, in addition to estimate the potential evapotranspiration using two empirical mathematical models in order to make statistical comparisons between them. This research was carried out based on the climatological data collected and made available by the Embrapa Arroz e Feijao hydrometeorological station between the periods of 1983 to 2007. The station is located in the municipality of Santo Antonio de Goias – GO. For the development of calculations, the data used were precipitation, solar radiation, temperature (maximum, average and minimum), and based on this information, potential evapotranspiration is estimated. The data were grouped in the form of quinquids, which allows greater precision of the results. From the results obtained by the application of the static tools, it can be concluded that the studied municipality has a favorable hydrological system for the development of agricultural activities and that the favorable periods of the year for these are the months of January, February, March, November and December. The relations between precipitation, temperature and evapotranspiration can be analyzed from the by obtaining of meteorological variables, thus explaining the anomalies that occur in the hydrological cycle of the studied region.
