The invention provides a train bearing defect detection method and a device. The train bearing defect detection method is applied to train bearing defect detection device. The train bearing defect detection device comprises two acoustic sensor arrays and at least two wheel sensors. The method comprises the steps of collecting and storing sound signals received by each microphone sensor arranged in the two acoustic sensor arrays and the induction signals of the at least two wheel sensors when a train goes by the train bearing defect detection device; according to the induction signals, calculating to obtain the location of a train bearing at each of different moments within a signal acquisition area; according to the locations of the train bearing at different moments within the signal acquisition area, conducting the time-delay superposition treatment on the sound signals received by each microphone sensor in the two acoustic sensor arrays respectively to obtain two sets of sound signals. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the signal-to-noise ratio of detected sound signals is improved. Meanwhile, the detection effect is more ideal.
