LABORATORY WORKS OF NEW GENERATION

An analysis of problem of laboratory works introduction into the student educative process in higher education institutions using computer-based technologies is given. The practicability is shown in case of the application of virtual works during online learning of students, in the absence of necessary equipment as well as for simulation of the missed classes by the student. The peculiarities of arrangement and representation of theoretical and experimental material in laboratory course using multimedia devices determined. A concept of virtual laboratory work on general chemistry has been proposed. An example of lab work in thermochemistry is given. The work is consisted of fi ve connected and, at the same time, independent parts. The fi rst part contains a detailed theoretical material, the second and third ones represent work description and approach, respectively. In the forth part the user is given an opportunity to create the laboratory setup. The fi fth part is connected with preparation of report.
