A method for the preparation of trimethylolpropane Hydrogenation Method

2014
The present invention relates to a process for the hydrogenation of trimethylolpropane legal apparatus, wherein the hydrogenation reactor comprises two series, the first stage hydrogenation reactor filled with catalyst with the composition: 35-45% copper oxide, aluminum oxide 15 -30%, 15-25% zinc oxide, cobalt oxide, 1-15% molybdenum and 0.1 to 2%; second stage hydrogenation reactor filled with a catalyst consisting of: copper oxide, 30-50%, 15-30% alumina , 10-20% chromium, 1-20% magnesium oxide, 1-10% calcium oxide, 0.1% vanadium oxide. Formic acid esters of the present invention is processed DMB catalyst under condensation process produces the preferred process conditions, having a high conversion rate, and simple process, and to improve the final yield of 1-3% of trimethylol propane.
