Future directions for spectroscopy at the Spallation Neutron Source

Abstract Inelastic neutron scattering (spectroscopy) is in high demand to further our understanding of energy and condensed matter. This article highlights some of the developments, which may be anticipated for the coming decade and beyond, of the inelastic instrument suite at the Spallation Neutron Source in Oak Ridge.
