A Study of Peasants' Occupational Diversification of Shui Nationality——Take Longma Village of Nandan County as an Example

The occupational diversification of peasants,which is a key precondition of the modernization of rural areas,is actually the laborer transfer from agriculture to non-agricultural industries.With the foundation of family contract responsibility system and the system of socialism market economy,the peasants' occupations of Shui nationality have been diversified since the policy of opening-up and reform was taken into practice.This paper aims at analyzing the causes that diversify peasants' occupations,on the basis of the study of present situation of Shui nationality in Longma village of Nandan county in Guangxi.
