Expert Information Description and Transformation in Reliability Test and Evaluation

Expert information is an important source for reliability test and evaluation of weapon systems under small sample size circumstance.In this paper,the process for elicitation of expert information is divided into four steps,i.e.description,collection,transformation and fusion.The description of expert information are classified into 3 categories(statistical,fuzzy and other)in totally 9 forms.Approaches for transforming each of the description forms into Bayesian prior distribution are given.
