Design and Simulation of Speed Measurement System Based on Optical Encoder

This paper introduces the basic principles of a photoelectric sensor for speed measurement.The signal characteristics and processing circuit of the optical encoder used for speed measurement is described.And the encoder speed measurement circuit with AT89S51 microcontroller for control center is designed.The method of software implementation is analyzed.And the assembly language is given.Expected measurement results are got by using Proteus software simulation.
