A Fault Line Selection Method by Resistive Current for Single-Phase Earth Fault in Network

2019
Aiming at the question of selecting fault line when single-phase grounded in neutral "point" ineffective ground system, according to resistive current, a criterion of line selection is proposed, and its feasibility is analyzed in depth. When the system detects zero-sequence voltage, the medium resistance is put into the neutral point of the system, and the resistive currents on each line are extracted, which is used as the criterion for malfunction line selection of the system. This paper analyses the influence of different resistance, ground resistance and capacitive current on the criterion of fault line selection. At the same time, PSCAD/EMTDC platform is used to simulate and verify the reliability of malfunction line selection, and the algorithm is analyzed with MATLAB. And results show that the criterion has a high reliability coefficient, and can accurately select fault lines under different conditions of ground resistance and capacitive current.
