The Analysis of Catchment Response Using Environmental Stable Isotopes
1989
The practice of obtaining hydrograph separations using environmental stable isotopes with bulk values for rainfall is questioned. It is shown that this practice can lead to misleading interpretation of catchment processes, and incorrect identification of the 'old' water contribution to storm hydrographs on small, responsive catchments.
