Progress report on hydrogen production and utilization for community and automotive power

Hydrogen utilization is discussed in terms of demonstration projects completed and/or ongoing at Billings Energy Corporation. Included are a variety of applications including fleet type vehicles such as buses and U.S. Postal delivery vehicles, domestic and farm vehicles, and use within the home. The use of hydrogen is demonstrated to integrate with alternate primary energy sources and energy conservation techniques such as solar and hydroelectric energy and heat pumps. This presentation also includes information regarding some hydrogen production sources and economics of their use for the above stated systems.
