Experimental Study on Treatment of Zinc-containing Wastewater by Using Three Dimensional Electrode Electrochemical Method

2006
Zinc pollution in water is very serious. Three Dimensional Electrode(TDE)is used to treat analogue wastewater with 95.0mg/L Zn~(2+).Orthogonal experiment is done to get the optimal condi- tion of TDE to treat zinc-containing wastewater. The result shows that electrolytic time, main elec- trode distance, the percentage of activated charcoal and the amount of treated wastewater, electrolytic current have salient effect on the removal efficiency. Under the optimal condition,Zn~(2+)removal ratio is as high as 95.7% ,the concentration of Zn~(2+)reduces to 4.1mg/L,which meet the national discharge standard GB 8978-88.
