Primary Survey on the Resources and Protection Countermeasures of Tailed Amphibians in Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve,Gansu

After a two-year investigation and research on tailed amphibians of Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve in Gansu,we have understood the present status and distribution of Batrachuperus tibetanus,Andrias davidianus and Tylototriton wenxianensis.We also analyzed the factors resulting in the environmental problems and proposed countermeasures including public education,developing scientific research,strengthening law enforcement,and developing community programs and rational development to improve conservation and protection of these animals.
