Short Staple Variety Demonstration

Two short staple variety trials were held in Graham county, one toward the west end of the valley (Eden) with 9 varieties and one in the center of the valley (Thatcher) with 15 varieties. Stoneville 506, the predominant variety in the western area, was the top yielder in the trial in Eden, with Stoneville 112, Sun Valley 93, Germains 365, Delta Pine 90 and Northrup King 2019 also making good showings.
