Method of promoting heat treating remediation for soil polluted by mercury

2014
The invention relates to a method of promoting heat treating remediation for soil polluted by mercury with citric acid. The method comprieses the following steps that (1), the digged soil polluted by the mercury is air dried and broken; (2), a certain amount of organic acid additives are mixed with the soil polluted by the mercury after the step (1), a mole ratio between the amount of organic acid additives and the amount of mercury in the soil is 4-50; (3), a quantitative mixed soil is taken and enters a heat treating remediation device, the process of heat treatment is at a temperature of 400-500 DEG C and is in a time range of 20-60 minutes; (4), soil after being treated is discharged from a discharging opening, the mercury in tail gas is condensed and recycled, and residual mercury is adsorbed and removed through a activated carbon. The organic acid used in the method has no pollution for the soil, technology is simple, cost is low, and remediation effect of the soil polluted by the mercury is good. The mercury content in the remedial soil is lower than the specified level 3 standard value in the Soil Environmental Quality Standard, and the soil can be directly used in agricultural production.
