Data Acquisition in Narda's Wireless Stations based EMF RATEL Monitoring Network

2019
Human environment nowadays can be considered as highly exposed when considering electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation. There are a number of artificial EMF sources in surrounding, continuously growing due to prominent technological development. The anxieties of the population have been intensified, regarding diverse information on unhealthy effects of such exposure, thus initiating the development of progressive systems for continuous EMF monitoring. Such systems have been established on wireless, autonomous, spatially distributed monitoring stations, performing long-term EMF observation. The objective is to timely inform the public on the present level of EMF and corresponding exposure. In this paper, the process of data acquisition and technical details for the recently launched state-of-the-art, the Serbian EMF RATEL monitoring network are presented. This network is founded on Narda's area monitoring stations and it is intended to become a valued tool for the protection and management of the environmental EMFs in Serbia.
