La publicación científica en Venezuela, razones para trascender y hacer grande la conciencia de la venezolanidad

Venezuela in recent times is in a state of uncertainty, in a strong dichotomy of social and political pressure. The radicalization process of confrontation between Venezuelans in the last decade has reached levels of deep concern, being a lot of aspects of national life that affect the good citizen’s performance. The university sector is not immune to this reality, decreasing motivation and demand for articles published in national scientific and technological journals, case that equally, depending on the area of these teds to be of a mayor negative impact. In this sense, a contextual framework of the need to establish effective strategies to reverse this unfortunate situation is exposed, which is detrimental to the publication of fundamental research made by important national research centers, which are the foundation of creation and eco-innovation in Venezuela. Publishing is the written and digital memory of the levels of Venezuelan humanistic, scientific and technological intellectuality; it is reaffirmation of the Venezuelan identity and our belief in ourselves.
