A Medicina de Família e Comunidade e sua entidade nacional: histórico e perspectivas

The present study attempts to relate the story of Family Medicine and Community (formerly Community General Medicine) in Brazil, as well as their national representative body, its interaction with the Family Health Program and establishment of proposals for the future.
