Peculiarities of the convergence of the method of partial regions in the study of the dispersion of waves in dielectric waveguides

The internal convergence of the method of partial regions is analyzed for the example of the calculation of the dispersion in a dielectric waveguide on a combined substrate by this method. The regions of instability of the solution of the boundary-value problem are determined.
