DYNAMIC CHANGES OF IGG LEVELS AND PASSIVE TRANSFER OF RESISTANCE TO MICE WITH SERA FROM RABBIS VACCINATED WITH ULTRAVIOLET ATTENUATED CERCARIAE OF SCHISTOSOMA JAPOMICUM

2001
Aim Rabbits were vaccinated multiply with ultraviolet attenuated cercariae of Schistosoma japonicum,of which the levels of IgG antibody in serum were observed dynamically. At the same time, sera with vaccinated rabbits transfered passively to mice at different time to detect the resistant. The results showed attenuated rabbit sera confered significant levels of protection(51%) when transfered before challenge. This suggested that antibody might play an important role in the protective immunity elicited by uv attenuated Schistosoma japonicumcercariae mutiply.
