Communicating with technology: design concepts for future platform management

This paper describes work aimed at developing a design concept for the operator workstations for future warship platform management. Physical design aspects are addressed but the emphasis is on information management, operator support and information design. The style and design of the human-computer interface of at least 10 years ahead needs to be proposed.
