Steuerung und Regelung von Nitrierprozessen unter Einsatz von Sauerstoffmesszellen

The fundamentals for the measurement of nitriding atmospheres are explained and the mechanical construction of a nitriding sensor is illustrated. A complete measuring and control system for nitriding and nitrocarburizing processes is presented. By records of measurements from working at nitriding furnaces the reliability of the sensors is demonstrated. Further-on the possibility is shown to combine the nitrocarburizing process with a following oxidation of the workpieces. Finally informations are given about new knowledges and the resulting modifications. The shown system demonstrates that the nitriding and nitrocarburizing process is capable for reliable and reproducible operation. The important values relative to the process are ready for documentation to accomplish the claims of DIN/ISO 9000 ff.
