Caracterización de las fracturas antrópicas y sus tipologías en huesos de conejo procedentes de los niveles gravetienses de la Cova de les Cendres (Alicante) Characterization of anthropic fractures and their typology in rabbit bones from the gravetian levels in the Cendres Cave (Alicante)

The human consumption of rabits from Valencia sites of the Upper Palaeolithic was important. The more relevant circumstance was the intense consumption of the nutritious resources. Rabits were filleted and the bones gnawed for attaining small portions of meat and marrow. The mophology of the bites were confirmed by experimental process. Morevor, the morphology of the bited bones were confronted with bone gnawed by carnivores. Fractury patterns from Gravetian levels of the La Cova de les Cendres (Alicante - Spain-) are offered.
