Advantages of radiation cured silicone based release coatings

Silicone based heat curing release coatings for paper and plastics have been on the market for more than 30 years. The most important and proven systems are solvent based condensation curing, although 100% solvent‐free, platinum catalyzed products were introduced to the market some years ago. For some applications emulsions are also suitable. All these systems cure by heat.
