Carbon Dioxide Information Center (CDIC). Progress report, January 1982-September 1983

1984
The Carbon Dioxide Research Division (CDRD) of the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Basic Energy Sciences established a Carbon Dioxide Information Center (CDIC) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in January 1982 to support the nation's carbon dioxide-climate research effort by providing a focal point for the compilation and distribution of CO/sub 2/-related information under systematic quality control. This informal report documents the establishment and experience of the center during the period January 1, 1982 to September 30, 1983. Progress on the activities and accomplishments by the center are discussed using specific examples to illustrate the concept and development of a specialized information analysis center.
