World Human Population Problems

2013
About 250 million people are added daily to the 7.2 billion who already live on the Earth. Yet more than 66% of the world population are currently malnourished and starving. More food has to be shared by more and more people each day. Among the basic resources essential for human life are fertile cropland, pure water, and many forms of energy. The diversity of plants, animals, and microbes that often go unnoticed are vital to agriculture and human life. Yet, throughout the world, pollution, resource degradation, and the overuse of natural resources are depleting vital natural resources.
